We land 1000 years in the future, on the coast of the pacific west. The settlement of Home is located just North of the half sunk ruins of Seattle and south of a towering World Tree, the Great Douglas Fir. Factions of a broken America have grown, fallen and been forgotten. Transformed by the awakening sentience of the planet, latent magic ability is awakened in humans spurring on huge leaps in technological advancement. The human denizens of the planet co-exist with giant insect-kind, incorporeal electromagnetic aliens, AI robot automatons, Martian humans transformed by terraforming and the wounded spirit of the living Earth.
